A murder in 1876...
...the killer's hanging two months later.

Rumours of a ghost in the costume room...
A gray Victorian house with a bright red door.

Historical facts? An incredible backdrop for great theatre?

How about both!

The Players' Guild of Hamilton, the oldest community theatre in North America, is proud to announce that this coming season, patrons will get both: four great plays held at the historic Guild House - one of Hamilton's oldest and most unique theatre spaces.

It's a bold decision and a brilliant performance venue. Help us celebrate our exciting venue change in our 133rd season!
Come out and be part of theatre history in the making as

AUDITIONS FOR

THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER

By George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart

This classic and hilarious play is set in the small town of Mesalia, Ohio, in the weeks leading up to Christmas in the 1930s’s.  It requires a large cast (15 men, 9 women), and provides a wonderful opportunity to both veteran actors and those new to the stage, or who perhaps have taken a break and would like to ‘walk the boards’ once more.  Sure to be a fun experience!

Sunday July 20  2 – 5 p.m.
Monday July 21  7 – 9 p.m.
Tuesday July 22 7 - 9 p.m.

Callbacks Sunday, July 27    2-5 pm.
